The Activities section is your go-to for keeping up with all the actions you’ve taken in your job search. Think of activities as your job search to-do list. From things you’ve already done like applying or interviewing, to tasks you still need to handle (like writing a thank you email or prepping for an interview!) this feature keeps it all in one spot. You can tag activities to specific jobs or add them as general job search actions, and they’re easy to track, edit, and view by date, and category.
Status Filters: Filter jobs by due date or completion status to easily track what’s urgent, overdue, or already completed. This helps you focus on what needs your attention right now.
Activity Types: Filter by specific types of job search activities, such as Applications, Interviews, Offers, and Networking. This allows you to zero in on particular stages of your search and organize related tasks.
Activity Category Tabs: View activity counts for key actions, like applying, interviewing, and receiving offers. These tabs make it easy to jump to specific steps in your job search process and keep an eye on progress.
Activity Creator: This button will take you to the activity card to create a new activity.
Logging an Activity
Start by clicking +Activity on the right hand side of your activity window.
🙋Tip: Huntr will automatically log key activities as you move jobs through stages within the Job Tracker. For example, when you move a job to Apply, Interview, Offer Received, or Offer Accepted, Huntr assumes these actions happened and logs them for you.
2. Choose from one of our categories or create your own by adding in your preferred title. Enter in dates, notes, and link a job you would like to attach to this activity, then click Create.
3. Once an activity has been logged, you will be able to edit and review it within the Job Card. You will be able to see all activities logged for this job within the card, and under the Timeline section.
🙋 Tip: Think ahead! Book follow up emails, thank you emails, or any other next steps that have been shared with you. This will allow you to stay on top of your interview process and stand out to your recruiters.
